Field Trip Opportunity:

We will be offering a fun and interactive educational experience. First will be an educational discussion.

Suggested topics may be:

  • How does corn grow?
  • How does a pumpkin grow?
  • How to design and cut a corn maze? The design this year is a pirate ship with a treasure chest.

After the group discussion, groups of 6-8 (with a chaperone) will walk through the small maze engaging in an age appropriate game.  Our activities support the Illinois Learning Standards (Solving Problems, Communicating, Using Technology, Working on Teams, and Making Connections).

A farm visit would not be complete without a few farm animals. Ready to greet you will be our miniature horse and donkey, our two pigmy goats, and our miniature pig.
